自我介绍

Hello! I'm Christy and I'm originally from Canada but have been living in Asia for the past 20 years. I have extensive knowledge of South East Asia as I was a tour leader for over 10 years. I'm now married to a wonderful Cambodian man, Sok. Sok, who was born and raised less than 1 km from our bungalows, has been a tour guide for over 20 years. We have three beautiful children and live next door to the four bungalows and are often around for a chat, a beer, a BBQ, or just advice if you need! We often visit our friends in the village at the duck farm, crocodile farm, or sometimes a game of boules! If you are around you are always welcome to join! We are always looking for more ways to be more supportive of the people in our community and the environment. We are big believers of supporting small, locally owned businesses, employing, educating, and training people from our village as well as trying to reducing our impact on the environment. We use biodegradable bags, do not use plastic bottles, compost, recycle where possible, and do our best to grow seasonal fruit and vegetables! We encourage all guests travelling to Cambodia to join the "Child Safe Movement" (Google it!) run by Friends International and learn how you can help to ensure your visit has a safe and positive impact on the children and youth in Cambodia! Things we love may include the following in no specific order: yoga, beer, friends, laughter, tuk tuks, organic food, bantering, ukulele, BBQs, 1960's Khmer rock and roll and alternative 90s music . If you are into any or all of the above, great! If not, even better! We have something to learn from you and hope that your visit will help us and others to better understand our world ! We look forward to meeting you one day!
