This is our annual summer retreat; it's a beautiful location and very peaceful. This is our fourth year. It has always met or exceeded our expectations. Mary is a gracious host! She is warm and welcoming and an effective and timely communicator. She has provided updates every year and keeps making the accommodations better.... from the outdoor tables to the recently added beverage cooler, we are right at home with the amenities. The well stocked kitchen includes a slow cooker, blender, mixer, multiple pots and pans as well a generous amount of table service. We really enjoy the spaciousness and the ability to share this great location with our family. If you'd like to step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, enjoy beautiful sunsets and peaceful surroundings, Mary's lakefront home is a great place for total relaxation and tranquility.

This was our second time staying at the Island Lake home and it was wonderful (again). It is cozy but spacious, with room for multiple couples (with kids). The water is also perfect for little ones as it is shallow and clear with lots of shells to find. We really enjoy this place and hope be back again next year!

This is our third visit to Island Lake. Mary is a gracious host and timely communicator. She strives to make her guests feel welcome. The house is the best of lake and relaxation. We enjoy time in the sunroom and patio. The neighborhood is quiet. It’s really the best. We’ve introduced our family members to this property and everyone always enjoys the view and lake. We look forward to visiting in 2023.

Believe the reviews. This place has everything you could need! The kayaks were a big hit with the kids. Nice beach with shallow and clear entrance. The lake is clear and peaceful! Loved sitting on the beach at night and looking up at the stars. Plenttttty of nice firewood was provided as well. Everything in the house was labeled which really helped making ourselves feel at home quickly. Plenty of room in the house and you did not feel on top of one another. The sauna was an added bonus! Super easy to get to and multiple little towns within a 15 minute drive. I could go on-and-on, but we hope to be back next year!

This was our first time doing an Airbnb and it was awesome. We will definitely be back again in the future! If you’re thinking about this place stop thinking and book it !
