We very much enjoyed the peace and quiet in the beautiful surroundings during our stay at Harriet’s accommodation. We had everything we needed and Harriet & Jeremy were very friendly. The directions to find the place were excellent and we were greeted and assisted on arrival. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again on a future visit to the UK.

What don't the other reviews tell you? This is a converted garage in the grounds of the owner's house. It's been done to a high standard, but the floors throughout are hard flooring and therefore very cold under foot. There are 2 electric heaters to heat the main living area, but I found them to be quite ineffective given the large space to heat, however, the bedroom warmed up nicely. There is double glazing in the rear part of the property (bathroom/bedroom) but the living area is singe glazed, and you get a great view of the garden. It's in a lovely peaceful location and all you can hear are the birds singing and the odd plane going overhead. The shower in the bathroom has great water pressure and heat, but it's a bit like a wetroom with only 3 sides to it and no door and the lip of the shower basin doesn't quite contain all the water so the floor gets very wet! The TV in the living area is FreeView only. In the summer it would be lovely, in March it was a bit chilly.

We really enjoyed our stay, a wonderful private garden setting. The hosts were very friendly and approachable and made us feel right at home. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful location, perfect base from which to explore Surrey and Kent. Harriet was the perfect host and answered any queries quickly. We had everything we needed and would definitely stay again. Thank you 😊

Really nice friendly hosts, great cottage to stay in.
