Fantastic cottage with idyllic gardens. Plenty of space, good quality furnishings and kitchen. A decent looking barbecue, which unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use. Recently renovated and well looked after. Short drive to the beach and town. Very good comms as well.

Our daughter and her family were visiting from Australia for the first time in 10 years - we booked Oldfield Cottage so that we could all stay together. The house was everything we could not have wished for and more - it was just perfect.

We had a peaceful and comfortable stay at Oldfield Cottage. The house was spotlessly clean, spacious with a lovely garden, and pond in front. Our families enjoyed the space and comfort and felt right at home. A few minutes down the road is the waterfront near the marina, and a pub a minute away on the same road. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful, with providing flexible entry and checkout and a helpful online guidebook for the area and house. A very well outfitted kitchen was welcome for cooking an Easter meal, and the house provided plenty of essentials for our group. Close to Chichester and the Witterings the house was an excellent base for exploring the area. The space was welcoming and allowed for relaxation and a good sleep in the comfy beds. Highly recommend Oldfield Cottage for exploring the area around Chichester, or further afield. Portsmouth historic waterfront is only around half hour away. One of the best airbnbs I have stayed in. Thanks for a great stay!
