Beautiful cottage on Islay. Fully recommend this place to anyone visiting the island.

The classroom is certainly a 5* experience in the Airbnb world, beautifully thought through interior and designed for comfort (the bed is great for a good nights sleep!) as well as aesthetics. The outdoor space is also tasteful and completes the property. A super transformation of a characterful building retaining an its features in a contemporary manner. The furnishings are just lovely, everything throughout is good quality and so well equipped that we wanted for nothing more during our stay. The location is perfect near Bridgend and really easily accessible from the ferry at Port Askaig - we used it to access all the areas of Islay we wanted to go, whether we travelled by car to distilleries, or fancied a scenic walk or run in the vicinity. Fabulous Scottish countryside all around, and everyone is so friendly! Margaret is definitely a super host, and we would unreservedly return and recommend to anyone.
