A lovely cottage within a very peaceful setting, with great views across the fields. It’s very well positioned to explore the Cotswolds and Oxford. Julia is a great host too. Would definitely recommend.

Julia’s place is simply stunning. It’s very quiet, secluded and the surroundings are beautiful. We visited with our baby boy and the high chair was waiting for us when we arrived like promised. The beds are comfy, there is an outdoor terrace to enjoy the sun and the shower might be the best I’ve ever seen! The Barn is nice and cozy, we felt right at home when we arrived. It is safe, has everything you need and at night it’s so peaceful, you will only hear the pheasants, but they are not loud at all! You can walk on a safe foot path to Chipping Norton in 30 minutes and to Salford it takes about 25 minutes, where there’s a great pub for food and drinks. By car, it’s easy to explore the beautiful Cotswolds and both Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon are about 30 minutes away. I would love to come here again, we truly enjoyed it! A lovely stay in Julia’s beautiful cottage. Fantastic views across the fields, quiet location and easy to walk right from home. The cottage had everything we needed and little thoughtful extras like milk and croissants. We were able to walk to the pub one evening for dinner in Salford which was a great experience too. Thanks for having us Julia!
