Magical property! Got to watch wildlife roam the property along the river while looking at the mountains each morning before adventuring through Yellowstone. Vanya was a wonderful host and has a very clean and welcoming space.

We like to go places when there are no crowds, so we came to Yellowstone at Christmas. You can still drive up to Mammoth Hot Springs and you can book a snowcoach or snowmobile tour out of Gardiner that will get you to {Yellowstone Canyon and Falls, Norris Geyser Basin, and Hayden Valley} or {Old Faithful and Grand Prismatic Spring}. In the immediate area around the cabin, which is right on the Yellowstone River, you will see pronghorn, Rocky Mountain elk, mule and white-tailed deer, bald eagles, black-billed magpies, stoats, and rabbits. A couple miles down the road by the (highly recommended) Yellowstone Hot Springs there are bighorn sheep. We only saw bison up in the Park on this trip, because it hasn't snowed much this winter. The cabin is comfortable and very well-equipped. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us and it sleeps 8. Vanya really communicates in detail; she reached out and explained all about what we would experience there in winter, so we had a very clear picture.

Gorgeous location on the Yellowstone River. We saw elk on the riverbank and heard them bugling while sitting outside in the evening.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vanya's place. The house was very close to the North entrance and maintained well. Vanya was very responsive, and she helped us with good local recommendations as well. Kids too had a blast with lot of games. The riverside view on the back was priceless. We would definitely love to go back there and thanks for sharing your house with us.
