About the owner: I own and manage all of my vacation rentals to provide the special attention that each guest deserves. I was a backcountry ranger in Yellowstone for many years and am happy to help you arrange activities in and outside of the park. My goal is for each guest to have a Yellowstone adventure that they will never forget. Why the Owner Chose Gardiner: We built this home from recycled materials found in Montana. The original building was an old homestead built in the 1800's that a farmer was going to burn down. Instead, we tore down the logs and re-stacked it in Jardine. Other materials include an old fence torn down by a neighbor. The walls are plaster with slate in the bathrooms and kitchen. This used to be our home and we loved the unique touches. Please come and see for yourself the beauty in recycling. The Unique Benefits at this Lodge: The Sunny Slope Lodge is only 5 miles to the north gate of Yellowstone and the town of Gardiner. The park, restaurants, shops, activities are all at your fingertips yet you may never want to leave the house. You truly feel out of the hustle and bustle of town and Yellowstone yet you are only a stone's throw away from everything.
