First off, the place is in such a sweet little nature spot, perfect for rest and digest. The house has folding doors that can be completely opened up to overlook a small rice paddy valley with the sounds of a babbling creek below. It was so relaxing to sit and read a book or have a cup of coffee while looking out. The bed was super comfy and the house has everything you need, including sharp knives which I always greatly appreciate! :) Internet is fine (for Bali - expect the occasional drop out of course), and Kadek said that the speed can be boosted upon request. Electricity and hot water were no problem. The house is perfect for those who want the quiet life of a farmstay (including cats and dogs), with the comfort of home. And just a short walking distance is a natural hot spring that pipes out of a small cliff, which was great to relax under and watch the fireflies go by. Kadek and Roy were so accommodating, and were always happy to have a nice chat and were like neighbours away from home :) I will definitely be back!

This place is magical. If you’re looking for peace, tranquility, rest, and a special kind of magic... head to this farmstay. You don’t go here for the typical tourist experience. It’s to be in the rice fields, hear the frogs, watch lightening bugs dance in the tree line, and have outstanding hospitality. Roy and Kadek are extremely accommodating and will take amazing care of you as their guest. If this sounds like what you’re looking for - don’t second guess booking this place.

I was in Bali 1 mounts, I change a lot of house (like 5/6) to visit all Bali, but is place is the best place I saw in all the period in Bali, the pictures you find on profile don’t show the magic on this place, I need to stay there! The host are super, help you for all, everything, I’m sure in a few period this house will be full all the day all the times. The best place, thank you so much for all. If I come back in Bali for sure I want to stai there one more time. All the best Marco

Kadek & Roy's place was the absolute highlight of my 3 week adventure around Bali. I have been to Bali more than 20 times and this is a highlight when I consider all stays across that time. Theirs is a small corner of Paradise & it was with mixed emotions that I left - happiness tinged with sadness. It has hot springs very nearby, vegetable garden and then forest behind which is right there in front of your view from the verandah. I rented a motorbike which was very easy to get around and explore the surrounding countryside and villages. The air is crisp and clean - as too the fresh water. Kadek and Roy prepare yummy meals if you wish to eat at home or you can try out one of the several local warungs. Jatiluwih is conveniently nearby. Kadek & Roy have not long been renting there beautiful lodgings but I can guarantee, we have superhosts in the making here! I will certainly return.
