You'll be in a quiet neighborhood comprised mostly of local residents just a few minutes from downtown Black Mountain. We are about a mile north of US Highway 70 and Interstate 40 which is a great location- you can enjoy the peace of country life while only being a short ride from where your adventures will take you each day.
There are lots of great restaurants and fun boutique shops in downtown Black Mountain, so you will definitely want to spend some time here, especially to check out the dining scene.
The home sits on ¼ acre so you will have room for your kids and pups to play in the fenced backyard. We are near Lake Tomahawk Park, which has an easy paved walking path around the small lake. If you are planning for a local tee time, Black Mountain Golf Club is also in the neighborhood.

Just put our home's address in your GPS and you are ready to go! We are about a twenty minute drive from the fun that awaits you in Asheville.
You will have parking for at least three vehicles in the driveway. If you are traveling with a trailer, the gate to the backyard opens so that you can park it out of the way. Roads are well-maintained in the winter, so you will have no trouble visiting us any time of year with any type of vehicle.
If you are going to visit the downtown historic district, the best place to find parking is at the free public parking lot at the Town Square, the intersection of Montreat Rd and State St (on your left as you approach the traffic light for that intersection from the home).
Should you decide to walk downtown, it will be about ¾ of a mile in each direction. Carefully walk towards the corner store and cross Montreat Rd. Here you will find a sidewalk that takes you there.
