The house is in a beautiful location, surrounded by bush, with parrots coming to the backyard for a feed. Short walk to the Mystery Bay beach, which is amazing.

The house is in a lovely quiet location with semi-tame King parrots and Crimson Rosellas visiting us. The carpets had clearly been vacuumed. Overall its good value but the house needs a little TLC. The big disappointment was discovering a sign on the master bedroom ensuite shower door requesting that we not use the shower for fear of flooding the bedroom. To their credit, the owners offered and promptly paid an agreed refund but had we known about this upfront we might have booked elsewhere rather than share 1 shower between 6 of us. Other minor issues were: - Cleaning could be more thorough in relation to cobwebs and "Daddy Long Legs" spiders in the cornices of the laundry and between the bunk bed and the corner of the room. - Insect screens are in places damaged or poorly fitted and so mosquitos got in a few times.

Lovely location, comfortable beds for the adults, but beware if you are heading down in cold weather. The house has comfy lounges and beds (for the adults anyway, we had no children with us). All the usual games, puzzles etc and the kitchen was well equipped. The DVD player was useful, and the WIFI worked fine. There was a large undercover outdoor area with a table and chairs, and lots of wooden chairs around the property. A short walk to the beach from the side of the property through a bush track. Lots of birds, the birdseed was a nice touch. The only negative was heating, there is a combustion wood heater, but there was no wood kindling or matches to use it. The small oil heater supplied was useless on a 4 degree night, so we ended up buying supplies ourselves. With the wood heater running, the house was toasty. We took our own sheets and towels to avoid the linen charge. We were only there for 3 nights, but the lack of a dryer would be a problem on a longer holiday if the weather was wet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, Mystery Bay is very quiet, but only 15 minutes from Narooma for supplies.

Awesome stay again. Did ask that they change the single beds in bunk room as the are as hard as a rock but other than that, great.

Such a little hidden gem loved the feel of the house and the location is second to none the best part was a walk in the evening to mystery bay and the kids run around with the dog off leash after 5 we will be back
