It was an absolute joy to meet Maria and be introduced to her Shabby Chic house which has been in her family for over a hundred years. The minute we walked into the spacious hallway we knew that we were going to love it. Maria is rightly very proud of the house and we felt it was a privilege to be guests and staying in it. We had a relaxing 9 nights in the house which was perfectly situated in the village … the convenience store was very close as well as great restaurants and amazing walking trails. The house itself is delightful and we were very comfortable for the time we were there, in fact we could easily have stayed for longer. In short we loved it and we were very very reluctant to leave this idyllic and very special house. Maria is a perfect host and very easy to communicate with at all times. She very generously allowed us to have a late check out which we were very grateful for. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this delightful house. Thank you Maria … I hope we meet again.

We can warmly recommend Marias place. If you want to stay in an authentic place, in the towns centre this is just magical. Tracking paths is just outside the apartment, lovely restaurants and a 15 min drive to port Sóller if you feel like a beach. We loved it, staying with 3 kids.

La maison de Maria est parfaite et idéalement placée. À la fois au calme et à 2 minutes du centre de Fornalutx . Tout est accessible à pied. La région de Soller est magnifique.

Really lovely stay at Maria’s beautiful place in Fornalutx. It’s such a gorgeous house, with so much character and charm. Plenty of space, including a lovely balcony perfect for admiring the scenery, and a secluded patio with comfy seating and dining table. Lots of space inside too, with three bedrooms and spacious hallways plus lovely staircase. Location was ideal, right at the heart of the stunning village of Fornalutx and minutes walk from cafes, bars, and restaurants, as well as a small but very well stocked supermarket. A beautiful walk takes you through the citrus groves to the centre of (charming medium-sized town) Sóller, and there are lots of well signposted footpaths locally to other villages and up the mountain. We didn’t have a car and managed fine. Maria was a delight, telling us about the house, sharing local recommendations, and available for anything we needed. We absolutely loved everything!

Maria is a very friendly host with lots of recommendations for the Fornalutx area. The house is nice and quiet. Fornalutx is a very beautiful village in the mountains. We loved it to come back to the house in the evening after a trip on the island and enjoying this peaceful place to relax or to have a drink in one of the bars at the village center. We definitely recommend this place.
