Jojo’s house was the perfect spot for our big family trip. We found everything we needed there and felt right at home! The house is beautiful, quiet and private, the nearest beach was also perfect. We would love to come back.

A house with it’s own life. Big enough to fit 10 people comfortably. BBQ area and pool was perfect. It’s located in 10min walking distance from the beach and has a great view, but it’s isolated enough from the main road to be quiet and chill. You can find almost anything you’ll need in there, you’ll just need to look. Everything was top notch really. JoJo gave us enough information and was quite responsive whenever we needed. I recommend the place and I’m really looking forward to come again in the future !

What we liked very much: the location, with a nice view to the sea; the nice living room furnished with style, the pool area and all terraces, on which one can have great time (heat permitting and using some mosquito repellent); quiet place; kitchen furnished with all kinds of pans, plates, ustensiles, oil, vinegar, etc; private parking for two cars in front of the house. What was less good: 1) a day before we were due to arrive for a nine-night stay the host announced to us that the dishwasher was not functioning « due to mishandling by the guests before us » and that it was not possible to have it repaired « in time for us to use it »… we insisted and were told a repairman would come on the fourth day of our stay, nobody came and we had to wash dishes by hand till the end…. curious to know whether the same scenario has been repeated with the guests who were due to arrive on the day of our departure. This episode and the communication with the host in general - she was polite and seemingly friendly but did not come accross to us as very concerned about our wellbeing in the house - was disappointing; 2) On the first day we found out that there was no hot water in the kitchen and the basement floor bathroom. A plumber was called upon our request, came the same evening and solved the problem but it was unpleasant to have to deal with this; was it so difficult to check before our arrival ? 3) when using the upper floor bathroom one has to live with the fact that used water does not evacuate in the sink and in the shower quickly enough .., 4) part of the furniture, electrical appliances, etc in the house are dilapidated (can be used still but on the brink of falling apart), this is not a huge problem in itself but comes as a surprise given that the house is advertised as a luxurious place and the price per day is high; 5) In our view the house is fine for six to seven people, not more, because the basement is unusable : it smells fuel there (apparently because of a tank for heating fuel located in the basement); 6) Ants 🐜 in the kitchen.

The house was a great place to stay. The outside space with the kitchen/BBQ area looking over the pool and with a view of the sea and surrounding hills is amazing and we spent most of out time there. The area is very quiet and peaceful and the walk to the beach is only 10 mins. The inside of the house is also nice and spacious. Check-in and communciation with JoJo (the host) was all very easy. A couple of things were not working and finding work-arounds was an incovenience and took some time (hence 4 rather than 5 stars) but we told JoJo about these. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend as a place to stay for families or groups.
