We stayed at Astrid and melbas place for 3 days, and must say it was wonderful experience. The space itself is Portugese architecture built more than 200 years back. Even during the summer day time it feels so cool inside the rooms. Well maintained, clean and well decorated home stay. Astrad and her mom melba aunty is very welcoming host. They also suggested many local restaurants to try out. Everything is at walkable distance. You will feel like living in Goan countryside. Aunt melba is very sweet and she always made sure that we are comfortable during our stay. Thanks for great hospitality, we will visit again soon.

The space was absolutely what was promised. This beautiful property is located a short walk from beach and plenty of restaurants. The property was clean and well maintained. The rooms were well decorated and fully furnished. The bed was comfy and clean. Astrid and her mum were excellent hosts. Chatting with her mum was always a pleasure. I had forgotten to carry my coffee grinder and V60 but Astrids mum was extremely kind enough to make me a cup of coffee with her mocha pot every morning at 5! Just how I liked it! They went out of their way to make me feel at home with snacks and meals on offer all the time. Helped me out with getting my bearings in the neighborhood. I will definitely be looking to stay with them the next time I come to the south of Goa.

Had a wonderful stay at Astrid and Melbas place for 6 days in March 2024. The place is 200+ years old and has aesthetic appeal. The room is artfully decorated and cozy. unique stay and refreshing. Aunty Melba was kind enough to show us her ancestral home. it's beautiful and well maintained. Astrid accepted our request for early check-in and late check-out as well. we hired a scooty for 400/day and travelled to all nearby places. nearby Majorda and Utorda beaches both are peaceful ones. Thanks for the memories. Wish we meet again :)

Lovely few days at the Red Rooster. Very friendly & helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Great information provided and Astrid allowed me to check out late due to a late flight, that was so helpful
