This tree house is great ... a couple of kms from the beach / main road, along a reasonable direct track. Spread over 3 storeys (with steep stairs to the bedroom), it's not for anyone with mobility issues. The treehouse is well organised and has great views of the trees and jungle (with associated early wake up call) .The balcony seats and hammock lounge are super comfy (as is the bed). Definitely recommend.

My husband and I were very blessed in going to this location. Fresh air, diversity of flora and fauna, clean water pool, comfortable tree wood house with ancient decoration. It was like going back to our roots in the 70s. Amazing Friendly hosts. I recommend this beautiful place for those who are stressed of crowded and noisy cities. And of course you have to be a nature lover. Cocles offers variety of activities to do and few restaurants to enjoy local or international food.

The stay at the Green Frog completely exceeded my expectations. I love to explore and get as much of the local sights and experiences in when I travel but I felt it hard to want to leave the calm and peacefulness of the treehouse. It was perfect for retreating for afternoon naps in the hammock and evening unwinding with nothing but the sounds of nature and numerous birds, butterflies and the odd lizard that scurried by. Rick and Lori were very helpful in offering up great recommendations for places to eat, drink, be entertained and the best spot in town to watch the sunset. They were amazing hosts and even let me check out the other accommodations they have, which was great as I’ll be coming back next year in hopes of staying in another treehouse. There was no other place I would’ve enjoyed more than staying here and I’m so happy that I got to experience their piece of heaven.
