Krystal was a wonderful host. Very attentive. We had some delays getting to NOLA causing our train to come in very late. She said she would keep the light on outside for us. She provided clear instruction’s on how to get in. It was our first time visiting and Krystal had many recommendations for us in a message and left out some pamphlets on the coffee table. Which we ended up doing a few things on the list. We had coffee at St. Roch and did a Gator Tour. Her house is in a great location. Using the transit was very easy. An RTA bus stop 57 is just a block away. Which was easy to use and to make our connections for another bus or trolley. If you wanted to take an Uber you could. Nothing is over 15 min in a car from her place. Her place was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. She had all the necessities. We definitely would recommend especially if it’s your first time and if you’re wanting to explore the city the location is perfect! Thanks again Krystal! - El and Steve.

Loved the house. The blue sofa in the living room is perfect for reading vampire stories at 3 am and a couple of blocks from the house it’s the St. Roch Tavern that shares space with the Colombian restaurant “El caimán gordo” for those who crave some Latin American food (the empanadas and the bandeja paisa are great and the second option is good for sharing it with somebody else cause it’s a lot of food). A walkable area. However, the vibe kinda changes at night so a lot of people (Krystal included) recommended me to take a lift home if I needed to get back (especially if you’re by yourself). Would definitely come back ✨
