Best place we have stayed so far. Lisa is so well organized, communication was a breeze. The home was beautiful inside, with comfortable nice furniture and rustic (but not hokey) decor. It was very clean when we arrived. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to others.

Wonderful cottage nestled in the woods at 15 minutes south of Munising. Zero light emissions here so if star gazing is one of your things this place is great! Very clean, nice decorations and a lovely little flower garden out back. All the amenities of home in the kitchen too. Would definitely come back in the future.

We had a very positive experience with our stay and our host Lisa. She was very helpful and responsive to our questions, and the welcome note with cinnamon bread was a nice touch. The location is very good for exploring the Superior shore in the UP from Marquette through the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It’s a quick 15 minute drive to Munising for restaurants, groceries, and lake tours, yet quiet and peaceful. Bruno’s Run Trail is just a couple miles away, while the McKeever Ski Trail is just about across the street. The yard had plenty of room for the kids to play around. The house is nicely appointed and updated. Beds and seating areas are comfortable, with plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels. The kitchen has more utensils and small appliances than most (the waffle iron and coffee grinder were a pleasant surprise). Two full bathrooms have our family of 7 plenty of space to get ready in the mornings and evenings. With a TV in the basement, the kids could get their screen time fill while the parents relaxed upstairs. We would definitely stay again!
