che dire… posto meraviglioso! Io con i miei amici quest’anno abbiamo deciso di passare il capodanno fuori regione e alla fine abbiamo deciso di passarlo da loro e non siamo stati per niente delusi anzi. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, dalla serata passata in compagnia loro e dei loro amici alla deliziosa colazione che ci siamo ritrovati la mattina seguente. Alessandra e suo marito sono delle persone veramente stupende che ti fanno sentire a casa soprattuto i loro due simpaticissimi amici a 4 zampe, con noi avevamo anche i nostri cuccioli e con loro è stato stupendo vederli interagire, tant’ è che un cane nostro faceva fatica a salire in macchina da quando stava bene li.

We were a group of nine people (four kids) staying for one night in the three rooms they rent in their house. We slept well, the beds were comfy and the rooms were dark and cool thanks to the shades on the windows and the air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious and varied: from eggs to homemade cakes to cereals and the coffee was very good. The hosts were super friendly and nice, they gave us local tips on local restaurants and parmesan and aceto balsamico tours. Raffaele even joined us in one of the tours and acted as a guide, offering more insight into local culture and history. And although we asked last minute about the culinary experience they mention in the description, they were flexible enough to organize it for us and we and the kids loved it! We cooked from scratch and ate together delicious, fresh tortelli verdi.

A magnificent place to stay and were made to feel at home instantly. We have fallen in love with the house and the area. Perfect for a stop over heading North or South, or exploring the area around Bologna. Peaceful, spacious and a wonderful place to stay. Our hosts could not have done more to make us feel part of the family in their historic 400-year-old house. It's very, very special and will be back! Thank you for everything!
