This is a little gem on Lake Winnipesaukee. The owners met us to give us a tour which is very helpful. Very peaceful area. We loved listening to the loons. About a 15 minute drive to Wolfeboro where we dined at delicious restaurants. They had 2 kayaks that we used. We mostly sat on the dock and read books and were mesmerized by the view. Awesome sunsets viewed by sitting in the screened porch. The 1/2 bath in the basement came in handy. The neighbors were very nice too. All was fantastic. The only inconvenience is they need lamps on the nightstands in the bedrooms.

The house is well-maintained and in a beautiful setting. We were told by a friend familiar with Lake Winnipesaukee ahead of the visit that the house is on the "quiet side" of the lake, and this proved to be very true. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating. They communicated frequently with us leading up to the stay. We were greeted with a welcome basket containing tasty treats. They were promptly responsive by text to any questions that we had throughout the stay. We are from out of state and were on a multi-leg trip. The hosts provided us with ideas for local shopping as well as bedding and towels so that we wouldn't have to pack them in our luggage. This was much appreciated. Our family enjoyed trying out both the outdoor and indoor games and even gave the kayaks a try. Having our college-aged children out in their own spaces in the bunkhouse worked out great for us. This was our first time booking an Airbnb, and it was a very positive experience.

We loved the location and being right on the lake. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. There were plenty of games to use and the game room in the basement was a treat, a bit damp but a bonus place. They were generous with lending their kayaks and a paddle board as well as lawn games. We made use of the sturdy clean picnic table outside for some meals as well as the grill. The bathroom has a shower and the basement has a second toilet and sink that we did use on occasion. The bedroom on the main floor was tight has no closet and the full size mattress a bit firm but we adapted. It was nice having ac in the room. The second floor bedroom had a set of steep stairs that were a bit scary coming down. The room was more spacious with a queen size bed and windows on either side for nice cross flow of air and an ac unit again that really helped. No closet. The grounds were kept very nicely. The family truly welcomed us with a thoughtful basket and welcome note. We felt at home and truly enjoyed our stay. The loons were a delight with their calling and the sunsets spectacular! The location is very close to Wolfboro for shopping and eating out. We hiked the Belnap area and hit the general store in Moultonboro too. A great location for so much to see. Gorgeous views, amazing sunsets, easy docking for boats with plenty of space for parking cars, trailer, etc. Quiet neighborhood just far enough from any main roads, but easy access to Wolfeboro and other local supplies. Fully equipped kitchen. Outdoor games, chairs, firepit, and kayaks too! Wonderful!

We had an amazing time spending the week here on Lake Winnipesaukee! The location is really unbeatable - a great swimming space in front of the house, a beautiful view from the porch and deck, a nice lawn right on the water, and a lovely home. I don't know what more you could want. We stayed with our two sons (5) and (7) and they had a great time. The kids chose to stay in the bunkhouse which was a fun treat for them to sleep apart from their parents. We stayed in the main house. The basement is filled with fun stuff for the kids (games, puzzles, foosball, pool, etc.). Outside there are two kayaks and a paddleboard which we used a ton. We also rented a boat which was easy to dock there. We had dinner every night out on the picnic table using the grill on the driveway. It was a great getaway after four months stuck inside from COVID. My only hesitance writing this review is I don't want too many others to know about this gem :)
