We took the big house. The house is cosy and confortable. We loved to use the fire place. They have plenty of wood. The kitchen had everything we needed. The heating of the house is divided in two, one controlled by us and the other by Barbara. She is very responsive and kind.

We didn’t have much time in this lovely space, but we felt very comfortable and relaxed in the surroundings. Barbara’s home is clean and well-furnished, and the property is stunning. Great opportunities for kids to play, and lots of common areas to enjoy. Close to Firenze, although a car is necessary if you aren’t willing to chance the buses. Make sure to get a car with high clearance, as the driveway is very difficult to manage. Barbara was kind enough to drive us to a good bus stop after an issue with our car, and we were so appreciative. Great place for the price!

Barbaras place was just the breath of fresh air that we needed after a busy weekend in Rome. The views were unreal and the surrounding countryside dotted with olive groves and vineyards. Visiting in November was perfect, with a slight chill in the air and a cozy space to curl up in after a busy day walking around either in the countryside or Florence. Wish we could have stayed longer, we will definitely be returning!
