This beautiful apartment is a little outside the city center (about 30-40 minute walk to the train station) but right across the iconic Erasmus bridge. Beautiful city and water views from a high floor, with the convenience of a carpark within the building complex. (Note to Americans -- the "1st floor" is often one floor up. ;) Walking distance to grocery stores (and the Jumbo we walked to take credit cards, not common in Dutch grocery stores, apparently), we ate in quite a few nights and enjoyed the large table. Washer and dryer very welcome for packing light + California king bed. Alex was a great communicator and also very helpful when we had trouble with the carpark gate and he was over in 10 minutes to push buttons with us and get it working. Recommended!

This apartment has been one of our favorites during our trip. It’s in a fantastic location, spacious, comfortable, clean with everything that you require to feel right at home. Alex is a great host and was readily available and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend for a wonderful stay in Rotterdam.

Alex certainly lived up to his reputation as a super host. The apartment was enormous with views of the water from three sides and views of many famous landmarks — from the 15th floor! Metro & tram are just outside and everything is within easy reach. We loved our stay and would happily stay here again. We had all the conveniences - full kitchen, laundry, TV, great WiFi. Also the metro stop really is directly across the street. Very comfortable furnishings, beds, sofas, dining chairs. We loved it and hope to be back!

We had such a wonderful two weeks at Alex’s. Right from the start, he was welcoming and answered all our questions. The welcome gifts of wine, chocolates and fresh flowers were such a nice surprise! His apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. Another welcome and unexpected gift was the amazing view. There are many windows, and all of them have water views! And at night the city lights were as amazing as the daytime views. Another plus is that the metro is just across the street, and from there you have access to trains all over the Netherlands-and beyond. We took a train from there to Paris! The transportation system is easy to use, and on time. We were so relaxed and felt at home. We highly recommend Alex’s place and hope we can return some day! Thank you for sharing your home, Alex!

Die Wohnung ist toll und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Blick rundum ist sagenhaft. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Da es auch einen Autoabstellplatz gab, war alles perfekt.
