Claire and John were nothing but helpful, responsive, and incredibly kind throughout my stay -- I felt right at home, and the space was as comfortable as described! Claire regularly cleaned up and changed the bedding, always making sure that I had everything I needed. Snacks were provided in the fridge, as well as a coffee maker on the table! Lovely perks that made me feel welcome. Perhaps most welcoming was their incredibly sweet ginger cat Matisse, the best perk of all. The neighborhood is picturesque, one of those rare spots in the city where nothing feels too rushed. It was quiet on our street, but a short walk took you to great restaurants and a very convenient train station. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay this summer, and cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you for everything!

Place was in a prime yet quiet location with many necessities close to you. Room was extremely clean and tidy and host was responsive to any questions I asked.

It's a perfect room. The room is really cozy and affectionate. There is plenty of storage space and it is beautifully decorated. It was so nice to take a rest while looking out the window on a day when I didn't go outside. The neighborhood is beautiful, too. It feels safe and there are many good restaurants around. It's good to use the subway, and even if it takes a little time, it's easy to go anywhere in NYC without complicated transfers. Claire and John always tried to ensure my comfort, and I received more consideration and kindness than I needed. It was the best accommodation without any inconvenience during my month of living.
