- Barcade (vintage arcade games and good beer)
- Johnny Brenda's for shows, beers, cocktails and classic Fishtown vibes
- Joe's Steaks for some of the best cheese steak sandwiches (we recommend them with American cheese, onions and a peanut butter-vanilla milkshake)
- 3J's Fishtown is a great small market that sells gourmet groceries, prepared food & smoothies, including good sandwiches, and they sell beer

Super walkable location with tons of great restaurants, bars, shops and venues nearby! Uber & Lyft are generally fast and inexpensive in Philly if you're visiting other neighborhoods, and the Fillmore is less than a 10 minute walk.
PARKING: There's unrestricted (free) street parking on nearby blocks, and a paid lot around the corner, $20-$30 per day; send us a message for how to get their best rates. You can park on our block all day if you have a temporary parking pass, which we can add for $20 until the day *BEFORE* check in (subject to availability).
The MFL subway is around the corner and it's 10-15 minutes to Old City and Center City. Ubers & Lyfts are generally $15-$20 to most areas near Center City, including Old City with Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, Chinatown and Reading Terminal Station Market, City Hall, Liberty Place and Rittenhouse Square, and Amtrak 30th Street Station.
~ Philly is a great walking city: along the Schuylkill ("skoo-kill") or Delaware rivers, eating riverside at Morgan's Pier (seasonal), exploring Old City's historic buildings and parks, or walking the Ben Franklin Parkway from City Hall to the Art Museum (and the Rocky Statue!). There are walking tours, including Halloween haunted tours, and the Philadelphia Zoo and Fairmount Park are both great on a beautiful day.
