Stephen Honeybill has been a gentleman of adventure and a world traveler his whole life. His career as an award winning producer / director of television programs began at the BBC and subsequently PBS. His career allowed him to fulfill his passion to explore many of the world’s most interesting and beautiful countries. In his personal travels, he sailed a 50 foot ketch 10,000 miles from Hong Kong to the Mediterranean, surviving an attack by pirates in the Indian Ocean. Stephen was also the navigator of “Ten Romeo” a single engine Beach Bonanza from Albany, New York to the North Pole. Later, on a trans-Atlantic flight, the crew set a world speed record for a flight from Washington D.C. to Moscow. A trip in 2010 brought Stephen to Belize, where Queen Elizabeth graces the country’s bank notes and English is spoken. In early 2011, he moved to Belize. After designing and overseeing the construction, The Crimson Orchid Inn opened in December of 2012.
