The room I live in has great sunlight, and the bed is quite comfortable. The area is in Pleasant Hill, which is a good neighborhood. The landlord resides on the property but doesn't interfere with tenants, which I appreciate. However, the sound insulation in the room isn't the best. Thankfully, the landlord living next door hasn't caused any disturbances. The challenge comes from a neighbor on the other side, a person from the Middle East. Every morning at 5 AM, their alarm goes off, followed by a loud speaker call to their family that lasts for hours. It can be a bit overwhelming. I sleep with earplugs, but if they fall out, I'm sure to be woken up. I understand they probably love their family, but I hope they can be more considerate of others.

To any travelers looking for a safe, clean and comfy home in a great Pleasant Hill neighborhood, Yuan's home is the best and she is a very kind and responsive host. I enjoyed her quick responses to my booking, questions and she made it very easy to get in after typical arrival hours. Also, Yuan is fun to talk with and had great tips for getting around and use of BART versus driving due to traffic an timing, which was very helpful to me. The room with pool view is the room I stayed in and it was comfy, clean and had a desk to work from which was great for me. The rest of the house and bathrooms were clean and well organized. I will definitely re-book again should the opportunity arise!

Perfect. Immaculate. A billionaire would say, "Whomever runs this place...hire them! We can make a fortune with this as an Airbnb business model!". It looks like an unexpecting house in a quiet cul de sac. When you enter, it looks like a furnished home model you tour to see the possibilities of buying a brand new home. The kitchen is great (I'm a Chef). The long dining table, the sitting area that looks down the hill to see the twinkling lights of the town...perfection. Swimming pool, Hot Tub. I do not have any negative things to say....and I am a tough cookie to impress! Thank you Juan for inviting us into your home.

it is a beautiful drive in the scenic area of the Border as Pleasant Hill and Martinez. The home is very Serene simple and great place to catch up on projects work and meditation. be precise in your agenda so there's no miscommunication and be thoughtful and cordial so everything runs in harmony. I recommend this is the place if you are by yourself
