We enjoyed our stay in the GC hinterlands. The place is stunning and in a beautiful location and Rochelle was friendly and very helpful! A few minor things were a touch inconvenient - the toilet door in the master en-suite doesn’t shut all the way so anyone in the backyard has full view of you on the toilet. Also, the master bedroom is missing a curtain on one of the windows so it’s bright very early which caused havoc with our 5 month olds sleep schedule. We also had people show up unannounced to the property one night trying to access a garage. When we asked them what they were doing they said they were there to get a mattress out. I get that the owner may store things at the sight but for strangers to show up at night without any prior communication from the host was pretty disconcerting and confronting given the house is somewhat isolated. Aside from these few things we had a great time at Rochelle’s place and would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway!

A beautiful and peaceful stay in the hinterlands. We loved the wildlife coming to say hello, the huge bath and comfy beds. Rochelle was a great host and always super responsive to our requests.
