Such a lovely, cozy, family-friendly home! Jobie was incredibly responsive and helpful, and the house was in a great location, close enough to ski resorts but in a quiet, private neighborhood with beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The game room was an amazing added bonus (billiards, an old school pac-man game, darts, video games, etc). This was a great spot to retreat for a weekend with our family, we mostly just hung out and played games, watched movies, and cooked meals together. The only thing I’d want to highlight is that (as mentioned by Jobie in the ad), the driveway is just dirt and was difficult to access in winter weather, and it made loading and unloading a bit challenging in inclement weather. This was only an issue because we had three seniors and a kid with us, and shoveling to provide safe access to the house was quite a lot of unanticipated work for us. This might not be an issue for able-bodied young folks though, or if weather is clear.

Jobie’s place was the perfect ski weekend getaway. We were two families with 4 kids who enjoyed the private space for the kids to play and the comfy setting of the cabin. Jobie was very responsive and always proactive with communication

We had a wonderful time staying at Jobie's place. Two families with young kids - there were toys, highchair, pack-n-play, sleds, kid dishware - all the gear to make your life as a parent easier. it was a beautiful & warm home, and we enjoyed playing in the snow and sledding down the driveway. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Jobie’s cabin the first weekend of February during a snow storm and loved every second of it. Turning into the neighborhood felt like we were entering a Christmas town. The house was warm and the driveway was plowed, very easy for a 4wheel drive truck to get up. We got around two feet of snow during our stay but felt very comfortable in the house. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook successfully but overall this cabin has everything stocked that you could think of. You can tell this home is loved. Bring what you need but do not worry if you forget something. There is also a general store across the highway we popped into after coming down from Sierra at Tahoe. We skied Sunday and enjoyed the quick drive to and from the resort. The only negative was the fireplace bringing smoke into the house while being lit. Jobie was very responsive and because of that we will be back. My parents loved the snow, this house is a hidden gem.

Everything is great overall. We found everything we need in the kitchen and there is enough coffee for everybody~ Great location, not too far from Heavenly resort. And we had a great time playing pool.
