Desiree and the location were the best Airbnb experience I’ve had. She came to the airport to collect us, tour guided and helped get us setup on the drive to the house, came in and ran through everything and checkin through the week. The location and house were lovely and very close to the dockyard where we were working. The only bad bit of the trip was we had long days at work and didn’t get enough time at the house!

Correct- they didn't have cash. I'll take a We had the best time staying at Desiree's place! The location was incredible. Water views, a 3 minute walk to a beach, and a 3 minute walk to bus stops in both directions. The house had everything we needed and more. Plenty of space for two couples and two babies, and you could definitely make three families work as well. We LOVED the back patio- it was great for stargazing. Desiree was also so welcoming. Super friendly, and really helped us get set up, including coordinating transportation from the airport and bus passes for us. Plus, the rum swizzles she made us were the best on the island. Would highly recommend staying here!

Thank you so much Desiree, for your kindness and hospitality!! Just returned from a week long stay with my sister. We really loved all of the south coast beaches. Transport was so easy between the bus stop at the end of the street, and the easy ferry from Dockyard. Desiree also offers her own Uber service if you aren’t wanting to do public transport! She arranged great transport to the airport, and brought us to the market . Always a fast response to any questions! Thanks so much!!

My family and I had a FAB-U-LOUS holiday in Bermuda. Four adults and two small children were comfortably accommodated in Desiree's 3BR flat which was spotless and well equipped. Only a one minute walk away, the small beach and bay were perfect for toddlers to dig in the sand and safely swim in.... morning and evening. I enjoyed my morning cuppa sitting on a rock...listening to the waning tree frog's lullaby...inhaling salty sea air...watching the little boats bob on the mirror still, turquoise waters. Desiree cheerfully met all of our transportation needs to and from the airport, grocery store, Horseshoe Bay (larger beach), restaurants and Dockyard. Her husband Fred can claim unabashed bragging rights for maintaining the gorgeous shared garden. The neighborhood is quiet with an Old Bermuda charm. Counting down the days til we return...

We’ve just gotten home from a week with Desi and Fred— and we have already booked a return. The place is exactly as described, very clean, comfy beds, excellent responsive hosts, plenty of beach towels, and a nearby grocery that has excellent options for food/beer/wine. The bus was pretty full each time we tried to use it, so it was wonderful to have the option to have Desi or Fred take us where we needed to go. We walked to the nearby fort one morning, spent one day at Horseshoe Bay, an evening at Dockyard, and cooked dinner at home a few evenings. I’ll be surprised if we can make it a whole year without returning sooner. Excellent air b n b. Highly recommend.
