Kaya's place was just as described, and a great mid-point on our quest to find clear skies to experience the solar eclipse. We had everything we needed. The bed was comfy! The cafe downstairs was an extra treat.

We were in Champaign to see our new grandchild, and this was an excellent place to be when we weren't helping out (or getting in the way) with the baby. The apartment is a very nice size for a couple and the kitchen is well-equipped. Between the small desk in the bedroom and the kitchen/dining table, we were able to have Zoom meetings simultaneously. That said, the wifi connection (shared with the bakery downstairs) dropped several times during the morning rush on two of the days we were there.

We had a wonderful stay at Kaya’s apartment above Hopscotch! The smell of the bakery in the morning was amazing, and being able to walk downstairs for breakfast was a dream! The noises from the bakery were surprisingly quieter than expected, and the location is just a 5 min drive to campus.
