Our vehicle broke down on the way to Marc’s stay. He was very understanding and refunded us for our full stay. We will definitely be back in the future with a more reliable vehicle.

Fantastic clean and spacious yurt in spectacular desert scenery with really well constructed washrooms and a welcome hot shower just a few steps away. The double bed was super comfy and we really appreciated the charging pack for topping up phones etc. The night sky was simply stunning - we've rarely seen so many stars as there is almost no light pollution here. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

Loved our stay, it is a steep drive up, but not bad if you go slow. We felt a lot of past reviews were overblown. Just go slow & you’ll be fine. The tent is in a beautiful setting, we loved our nightly views. The afternoon sun is quite strong, & inside the tent got warm until sundown, so consider bringing a battery powered fan and/or some sort of outdoor pop up shade. The tent & bed was comfortable, with linens provided. We had towels but no washcloths so consider bringing your own. An extra blanket is provided. Know that if you are staying awhile that the trash can get full so consider bringing extra trash bags. There is a charcoal grill & a fire pit, but bring your own firewood & charcoal. There is a community kitchen behind the bathrooms, but we don’t recommend using them. The shower, sinks & toilets were extremely clean. (The mirrors could be better). Lights are dim, but it’s solar, so it is what it is. Mostly hot showers available. We felt safe leaving our stuff in the tent.

We loved staying at the Lotus Tent at Marc's place in Terlingua. The tent is well maintained, clean, and all of the decor and amenities were extremely thoughtful. From extra blankets and towels to extra USB rechargeable lanterns and solar panels, we were surprised at all the extra things we didn't know we didn't have to bring! Hot showers at the end of a long day of hiking were amazing. Bathrooms were well maintained and convenient. Evenings were pleasant by the campfire, campgrounds are mostly quiet aside from the occasional passing car. The grounds are located in a prime location, right above one of the hottest spots in town. I highly recommend a visit to Starlight and the Terlingua Trading Co. store! This was a great find for us to stay a couple nights as we hiked in Big Bend during the day. Great "glamping" experience. Very cute.

Marc's yurt proved to be a spacious and comfortable place to stay while visiting Terlingua. We loved the scenic view. The yurt itself was clean and equipped with the essentials, and it was conveniently located close to the communal bathroom. We would recommend this stay to others passing through the area.
