Jim and Lisa were very responsive and proactive on providing instructions. Their place is secluded and well kept. It was great for a short weekend (2 nights) with 2 adults and two small children. Two queen beds and there is a cot in one of the closets, so the bed situation was ok. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast and the hot tub was huge hit with the littles. All in all it was a great place at a good value and we would definitely pick it again. The only suggestion would be that they sharpen the knives, but that’s a simple fix. Thanks Jim and Lisa!

It was as expected, clean and private, we had a lot of fun with my wife walking and eating through the city.

We only stayed a day out of our entire weekend due to an emergency but we certainly enjoyed the clean, peaceful and well supplied cabin. We got to cook dinner and enjoy a few movies. Certainly would love to return someday.

This was our second year coming to this cabin and it does not disappoint! It is incredibly peaceful, private, and cozy. The hot tub is perfect for the cold winter days/nights and the fireplace is a great touch. Jim and Lisa are always incredibly responsive and always do their best to accommodate all of our needs no matter what. It was supposed to snow during our trip this time and they sent me a message to let us know they already had someone planned to come plow the drive. It ended up sleeting instead, so the plowing wasn’t necessary, but it was great to know that they had a plan to make sure we could get out safely if needed. The Food Lion is close by so we can get all our groceries and cook in the cabin and just relax. We already decided we will be back next winter! I highly recommend this place!
