Amy is a fantastic host who was able to accommodate us at the last minute on a Friday evening. The unit is exactly as described and the most comfortable bed. Amy sent clear check-in instructions and there was detailed information for everything in the home and many tips about the city of Lynchburg provided in a binder in the unit. Every amazing meal we ate over the weekend was one of her recommendations. We ate at Bootleggers, RA Bistro, My Dog Duke's Diner, and Bacon St Bagels. Finally, the view of the river from the backyard is incredible!! If we are ever in Lynchburg, we would definitely stay here again.

Ik heb genoten van het verblijf op deze locatie. Ik ben zelfs een dag langer gebleven dan gepland. Het enige wat ik soms wat storend vind was het geluid van de staalfabriek aan de overkant. De fabriek werkt 24/7. Het is niet slaapverstorend maar er komt wel geluid vanaf.

First of all, I can not say enough good things about Amy's place. The home is beautifully decorated. We loved all the old brick wall in the bedroom and part of the kitchen. The home has a beautiful view of the James River. There is also an historic iron pipe factory just below the hill. We enjoyed watching the workers as they did their work. We were not disturbed by any noise. I would suggest a larger back porch or deck for sitting. We spent a lot of time outdoors, enjoying the view The bed was very comfortable. I slept great. The location was perfect--close to downtown and some of our favorite restaurants. We recommend Depot Grille, 7 Rooftop Bar, and Duke's Diner for breakfast. Our hosts were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants. They were also quick to respond. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely book this place again. Thank you so much!
