Cosy little shack in a remote location, which came with everything we needed. Host didn't appear during our visit but it didn't impact our stay, and communication via messages was satisfactory eg. instructions on finding the shack were very clear. Due to the weather, the track leading to the shack and the parking area were very muddy, and there were no obvious countryside walking routes straight from the door, as was implied in the property description. However, these were very minor things and didn't diminish our stay. Overall, a great little getaway for two.

This place is cosy and comfy, looks like the photos. The parking was really muddy when we were there, the parking space was a quagmire and our boots were covered in mud which it was difficult not to bring into the house. The water pressure is quite low, so the taps and shower were a bit of a dribble. Otherwise comfy sofa and bed, nice decor. We would have appreciated maybe some milk to be in the fridge on arrival as we were in the middle of nowhere.

Fantastic weekend. really peaceful. Fantastic proactive host who couldn't have been nicer. Will definitely be coming back.

Well decorated and cosy. Lovely views outside and good location, less than 20minute drive to St Andrews. Kitchen area is very small but has everything needed for a short stay. Property is a little difficult to find the first time however the host gave us clear directions which were very helpful so didn’t have any issues.
