When we saw the photos on Airbnb & on the host's own website, we had high expectations of the appearance & the facilities of the bungalow. However, when we arrived the first impression was very different to what was portrayed on the photos. We thought the front of the main building could be a little modern & the interior doors to the bedrooms were cheap low quality aluminium doors. However, once we got used to the front appearance of the bungalow & the bedroom doors, everything else was absolutely superb. We were looked after by Chinthaka who was superb & didn't say no to any of our reasonable and unreasonable requests! All our delicious meals were prepared by Kalum, he took care to make the meals exactly how & what we wanted. The natural pool was so relaxing & the surroundings were very peaceful. We didn't meet the host (Thilini), it would have been nice to have met him. If not for the disappointing first impression, this place deserves a 5* rating in every way...Thank you!

Place is very spacious, beautiful scenery, the bathrooms were nice as they were clean and modern and had a nice natural pool. The host was also very friendly and helpful.

Thilina's place is spacious, surrounded by large trees. Caretaker Supul and Thilina are both responsive, friendly, and helpful. The natural pool was great for relaxing. Situated relatively close to major attractions like Sinharaja rainforest, Patna the sliding rock, etc. The food is the standout factor if you are interested in authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. Each room has its own bathroom, which reduces the rush. Overall, we had a great stay and recommend that someone prefer rural quiet to stay close to nature.

Spacious, clean bungalow in a tranquil location. Thilina was communicative throughout and the staff looked after all our needs.
