Perfect location with easy walk to lots of restaurants, shops and hiking at the doorstep. Parking at nearby council parking which you get a permit for. Works well and only a short walk away. House was clean and comfortable and feel spacious. Only thing is water pressure could be better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swiss Villas and would recommend to anyone looking for comfortable, well equipped accommodation in a perfect location for exploring Ambleside and the Lake District. Right in the centre of Ambleside and walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and bars. The cottage contained everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again if visiting Ambleside.
