The property is located in Mgarr, a typical rural village situated in an isolated region. The unique geography of Mgarr is also characterized by large tracts of arable and uncultivated land. This, coupled with Malta's mild winter climate, offers the opportunity for some highly relaxing and enjoyable country walks.
Mġarr has also two important prehistoric sites, Ta' Hagrat and Ta' Skorba where both are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The nearest tourist village, Bugibba is just 6 kilometers away whilst Valletta, the capital city, is 16 km away. Mdina, the old capital city of Malta is 6 km away.

It is more convenient to travel by car than by bus. Parking in front of the apartment is never a problem, both during the day and night.
A bus terminus is 2 minutes away from the apartment (300 meters away) with direct routes to Ghajn Tuffieha Bay, Golden Bay, Gnejna Bay, Valletta, central Malta (including Mosta) and Mellieha (including Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal to Gozo). Buses 44, 101 and 238 connect the village of Mgarr to anywhere around Malta.
