Brand new 75 square meter 3rd floor apartment with lift. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area. Air-conditioned, fast internet connection and free WI-FI. In a quiet area, yet close to centre. Shops are within 100m, and restaurants are within 250m. The bus stop is just 10m away and parking in-front of the apartment is never a problem. Ideal location - 2km away from the sandy beaches; Golden Bay, Gnejna Bay and Riviera Bay. This apartment is found in a new block of apartments which is accessible by lift from ground floor level. Once inside, you will find a combined, kitchen, dining area with a front balcony. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, including a toaster, a kettle, a microwave oven and a nescafe espresso machine and a moka cofee machine. The dining area has a seating for 6 persons but can be extended to accomodate up to 8 persons. In the living area there are two sofa beds. One of the sofa beds sleeps 2 persons (mattress size 140cm x 200cm) and the second sofa bed sleeps one person (mattress size 90cm x 200cm). Smart TV and Internet is available for free with a speed of up to 1000 Mbps. Once you go further into the apartment, you will find a full bathroom. A washing machine is available in the kitchen and an iron, ironing board and a clothes drying rack are also available. Then at the back of the apartment, you will find the two bedrooms. The smaller bedroom has a bunk bed (where the beds measure 90cm x 200cm each) while the master bedroom has a euro king size bed (measuring 160cm x 200cm) and single bed (measuring 90cm x 200cm). The master bedroom has access to a large back balcony with view of the village skyline, the church and hills in the distance. A baby bed and a highchair can also be made available upon request. Bed linen, bath towers and a hair drier are provided.

Les contacts avec Leanne ont été rapides et précis dès la réservation. Notre avion avait 2h30 de retard, mais notre arrivée à 3h00 du matin c'est passé parfaitement grâce aux infos communiquées. Quelle agréable surprise à 3h00 du mat de trouver un logement si propre, si bien décoré avec tous les produits de base nécéssaires et plein d'infos pratiques et touristiques très pragmatiques avec en plus : une bouteille de vin! Le quartier est super calme et sans bruit la nuit... quelle paix ! L'exposition aux vents facilite beaucoup la ventilation sur tout le logement. La vaisselle est sobre et belle, les grands verres à pied très agréables et ceux à bière beaux et grands. L'équipement est vraiment complet. Pour nous deux, un si grand appartement ça a été la vie de château. On sent que Leanne est investie à fond dans l'accueil et l'accompagnement de ses hôtes. Bravo Leanne ( et ton mari très sympa aussi). Continuez comme ça !

logement idéalement situé. nombreux restaurants et supermarché à proximité. station de bus à côté, mais attention les bus ne sont pas ponctuels et des arrivées aléatoires voir des fois ne viennent pas aux arrêts . Le logement est très propre et bien équipée.

A comunicação com a anfitrião foi excelente, sempre pro ativa a querer ajudar. Ficou acordada até às 3h da manhã à hora que cheguei ao apartamento para averiguar que tudo corria por o melhor. Casa muito limpinha, tinha tudo. Cama super confortável e almofada, parecia um hotel sem dúvida!

Leanne was a great host , she was excellent with giving us instructions about everything. Everything was super clean plus she was nice enough to provide us with a baby bed as we were staying there with our 3 month old ❤️

The apartment is found very close to the village center which is just 250m away or 1 minute on foot. The area is very safe as the location of Mgarr is a small rural village situated in an isolated region to the west of Malta.
Several shops (including a supermarket and pharmacy), restaurants and bars area within a walking distance.
There is a construction project in the neighbourhood which may create some daytime noise between 7:30am and 5pm.
The most beautiful sandy beaches on the island are found just 5 minutes away by car. These are Gnejna Bay, Golden Bay and Riviera Bay (also known as Ghajn Tuffieha Bay). Bus service is also available to these beaches.
Not to forget to mention, two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, found in Mgarr. These are Ta' Hagrat Temples and Ta' Skorba Temples dating back 3600BC.
Other attractions very close to the apartment include Popeye Village, Mosta Dome, Dingli Cliffs, Rabat Catacombs, Mdina (the old capital city) and Bugibba (the nearest tourist village). Valletta, the capital city, is then 16km away from the apartment, at the other side of the island.

It is more convenient to travel by car than by bus. Parking in front of the apartment is never a problem both during the day and night.
The closest bus stop is 30 meters away from the apartment. The name of the bus stop is "LUKE". Two busses pass from here, the 238 and the 44.
Bus 44 offers a direct route to Golden Bay and Riviera Bay in one direction, and a direct route to Mosta, central Malta and Valletta in the other direction.
Bus 238 offers a direct link to Mosta and the centre of Malta.
From the bus stop "Mgarr", which is found just 250m away from the apartment (in front of Mgarr Parish Church), passes another bus, bus 101.
In one direction it goes to Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal (to Gozo) and in the other direction it goes to Gnejna Bay.
(Note that bus service to Gnejna Bay is available only in Summer and thus during the other seasons bus 101 starts its journey to Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal from bus stop "Teatrali", just 450m away).
