Exactly as advertised and perfect for our ski trip. Only about 15 minutes from Ski Brule. Nice, quiet place to relax and rest. We packed & our own food, so other than skiing, we never had to leave the apartment. Met John as we were leaving and he was very kind. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again if we are in the area.

We were comfortable and felt welcome. The personal touches, the coffee bar, beautifully decorated home that fit the historical perspective of the property were exceptional The attention to detail, and respect for the property is evident. The property is private and peaceful. John was friendly and responsive and available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! John & Patty left treats and wine which was totally unexpected. It was so close to where we wanted to visit. Very homey & clean. The flying pigs intrigued us since we are from the Cincinnati, OH area. Definitely will stay again next time in Iron River~ if they’ll have us !

When we got the apartment, it didn't feel like we're visiting. It felt a bit like home. The kitchen was great, the living room spacious and welcoming, and the bedrooms were cozy and private. I grew up in the area but never went down the Fairview Road, despite passing it hundreds of times. The location is fantastic because you feel secluded, yet are close to town. It's incredibly peaceful with lots of wildlife. John was a great host, always busy on the property and always there to talk with any questions. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
