I visited this place at an important time in my life. The nature around you the clear moon , stars and walk to Rio Grande river will remain in your memory for long time, You all need to experience this place the owners of this place did a great job. I rate this place highly. Ray is wonderful host . I will visit this place again. This place took me back to my childhood village.

While I’ve had ample opportunities for solo traveling throughout multiple continents over the years, Ray’s kiva might be the most serene spot yet. Sitting on the bench outside the front door while the sun comes up or goes down is a must. Sitting in bed and looking out the three large windows is a gift. Water and power as well as the nicest outdoor toilet you’ll ever experience provide what you’ll need. Watch hot air balloons overhead in the morning. Walk to the hot springs (early am was the best time). Taos is a short drive. I suggest driving up to Questa and Red River too. The space is ample and without frills but abundant in opportunities to be contemplative inside or outside. A real gift.

Just to echo what everyone else has said - this is a very special place, off the grid and an opportunity to reconnect with nature and get back to basics. I was looking for a unique experience & it delivered. Only thing is that it was hot when I stayed but I was out during the day and the kiva was very comfortable at night. I took a dip in the nearby hot springs by the river and it was the best experience. Ray gives clear instructions how to reach the kiva and I had no problems getting there. Thanks for a great Taos experience I won’t forget.

This space is so serene and peaceful. The silence is amazing. I was there on a new moon. The stars were showing off. I will definitely be coming back.
