Beautiful property inside and extremely well decorated. The property had everything we needed and was especially perfect for our dogs. There is a lovely little private enclosed courtyard at the back which was perfect for them to relax after a long walk in the unexpected February sunshine. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are lovely and clean and the whole house has a lovely warm atmosphere. Only problem we had was actually accessing the property on arrival - the key safe is difficult to access (this is mentioned in the visitor information book so we are not the only people to have had these issues). The front door was also extremely difficult to open and especially when inside the property when trying to exit. Maybe the recent wet weather spell has called the woodwork to swell? Either way, this was somewhat problematic and without brute force I'm not sure we would have managed to get out at all. Sadly a lot of time was spent simply trying to open a door.

A lovely house equipped with everything you need for a week (or longer) stay. The kitchen has all the utensils to do your own cooking efficiently. The beds are comfortable and have cozy finishing touches. There’s also a lot of space in the house for larger families. Very clean and well decorated and nicely situated on a quiet street close to Whitby town centre.

Very well equipped and tastefully decorated house. Excellent location for Whitby or for traveling to surrounding area. Was able to park 2 vehicles at the front and the co op was conveniently located at the bottom of the hill. It is to be noted that it is a rather steep hill back from Town to Park Terrace, although a short distance. Overall a very enjoyable place to stay.

The house is a great base for a Whitby holiday. It is convenient to walk into town and there is a pub and fish and chip shop just one street away. The town centre and Co-Op is a 5/10 min walk away and is downhill going into town but there is a bit of a hill coming back up. Parking is for 2 cars and we parked 2 Audi A3s in there. The street is narrow so you have to use the parking bay. The master bedroom is spacious with a comfy bed and TV with Netflix. This bedroom is next to the bathroom with lovely bath and very large shower. The other bedrooms are up a further flight of stairs which are steep so make sure that everyone is able to deal with that. It is a Victorian terrace so expect steps. Note that pulling the front door shut does not lock it, so use the key. Our stay was in January and the house was warm and comfy for sitting and plenty of space for dining. Good kitchen well equipped and has a dishwasher and washer but no dryer. The photos give an accurate view of what to expect and I enjoyed my stay there.
