Firstly, it’s a good size villa for 3 people. Very clean and the grounds are lovely. Pool is superb. However, What has happened to the personal experience of booking an air bnb? We basically booked a villa through a rental company that post on the site. We arrived at night and the least we would have expected was a bottle of water in the fridge. There was no salt and pepper, no bin bags, no olive oil. The basics really which, if you are coming for a few days or just a week is a complete waste of money and loads gets left behind. Why not charge £5-10 extra and leave a welcome basket on arrival. It’s very frustrating. Also the keys are not marked so there are lots of doors and shutters and it’s a case of trial and error. Again very frustrating If they marked the keys it would be much simpler. And there is no full length mirror. So if you are on holiday and want to see what you look like you can only see your top half. Check out when you leave is 10am which feels very early. Most hotels are 11am. And the cleaner turned up at 9.40 and was hovering while we finished packing. Not ideal. The villa could do with modernising but if you want basic, old style with nice grounds it will suit you perfectly.

Spending two weeks in hot July 2022 at the Villa Cas Frares in Santa Maria del Cami - we enjoyed it very much. The estate was perfect for spending relaxing holidays in the Finca at the pool and also good to start excursions over the island. Own car mandatory. Good and timely communication with the Slow Villas team via Whatsapp. Minor issues with pool pumps were fixed immediately. Well equipped kitchen and proper working outside BBQ gas grill. Our clear recommendation to spend holidays in Villa Cas Frares.

Very nice secluded space. Great place for peace and quiet. Must bring everything if you intend to cook at the house.

We had a fantastic week in this beautiful house. The house and garden are very cozy and the area is very nice. Palma, the sea and mountains are not far away, that’s why the location is very good. Really recommend a stay there. :)
