The house was great value for money and it was brilliant to have our own space for our stay for such a low cost. We felt right at home with the cosy living room. Paul and Maeve’s responses were always so quick and they were really accommodating. The location was also great - only a minute’s walk into town with dozens of great restaurants. Although the street was always quite busy with cars, we never had an issue parking and it was great that parking was free! Our stay was in winter so we didn’t get to use the garden but I imagine it would be handy to have the outdoor space if it had been sunny.

Terrible experience. As a superhost we would expect that basic things like heating would work without problems, even more so when travelling with a 6 month-old baby and a 3 year-old in late December with very cold weather. In our view, a superhost would have had the flat nice and warm for our arrival. By doing so, the owners would have realised that there was a problem. This is what a superhost does, surely, why else have the distinction????? Of course we are aware that things may break down from time to time, but we would expect at the very least, especially from a superhost , that a plumber would come to fix the boiler. We were told that there was no 24-hour plumber available in the whole of Greater Belfast which we didn't believe as we also checked online. The owners didn't manage the situation as a superhost would do. Besides, I called Maeve while we were communicating by whatssup but she refused to take the phone. It was only when I said that I would notify Airbnb about the situation that her husband called us back asking us not to do so... Apart from that, the freezer had open packets of food and there were 3 open tubs of butter in the fridge... It certainly felt as if they had not checked the condition of the flat before renting it out. We would not trust them again. This situation caused a lot of stress in our Christmas holidays as we had to find another place to stay in at short notice at one of the busiest and most expensive times of the year.

Very cosy place with comfortable beds! Quick responses and detailed, helpful house instructions. Super easy to access with our rental car. Thanks guys!
