If you are planning to journey Siargao and would like to get the best value for money, Payag Suites is one that you should seriously consider. This is my second time staying in this place. The first was a solo travel and this time with my family. We stayed in Kawhagan for 4 days and the kids really loved it, child friendly place it is. We also booked at Payag ni Juan for a day where we cooked our food and had our “woke up with this view experience”. This is a great idea to save money. Also, I can’t emphasize enough the great location of the place to Cloud 9 where you can just drop everything and surf! The place is on going expansion and it’s already homey. I can’t wait for the restaurant (?) to open. Have I mentioned that they offer great island and land tours? Yes, they do. I have actually tried the famous tour group in Siargao and the experience was, honestly, better. I don’t want to say that it is cheaper because they might charge more. Haha Jimboy is one of the caretakers and our competent driver. He referred us to Albert to be our tour guide, who did all the hard work. He became our instant baby sitter and friend. Our stay got even better because of its 3-minute walk proximity to the Cloud9 surfing tower! Especially in November, one of the locals said it is around this time that the best waves arrive so it's really cool to see surfers catch huge waves. So if you're going to Siargao for a good surf stay, Payag is the perfect place to be! Tourism Road is 6 mins away via tricycle. The room is very spacious and could accommodate, I think 8-9 people even. There is also a kitchen which is also very convenient for coffee and breakfast mornings before heading to trips. Payag rents out motorcycles as well for half-day and for the rest of the day. Would most definitely stay at John's place next time we come back!
