Gorgeous views of the River Shannon. Spent every morning just sitting on the jetty. The treehouse/swings/slide is great for kids & so much space to run around. Our energetic golden retriever had a brilliant time! Rachael was so kind to leave bread, butter, milk & cookies etc. for our arrival and gave excellent recommendations for kids adventure centres nearby. The house is secluded but only a few minutes to Carrick-on-Shannon. The road up to the house (for 1km) is an unfinished road & needs careful driving! We really enjoyed our stay & would love to come back and make more use of the water next time. Thanks so much Rachael.

What a beautiful location & surroundings. The house itself lived up to all past reviews and more. Has everything you would ever need in a house and so close to town but a feeling like you’re in your own private hideaway. I can’t recommend this place enough, the only drawback was the weather and its effect on the area around the house but totally out of anyone’s control. Fantastic location for kids and adults alike. Rachael left some essentials upon arrival which was a lovely touch and responded to any questions within minutes. A wonderful host. John & Family Christmas 2023

Great house if you are looking to get away from it all but still be close to town. House is set on lake front with large field surround. Kids loved the trampoline. House has a great kitchen and cosy living room
