Bright and welcoming spacious 3 bed apartment with a distinct nautical flair overlooking the River Shannon. Whether you are visiting family, here to celebrate a special occasion or just intending to explore this vibrant town and the surrounding Hidden Heartlands, this would be a perfect base to start your adventure. The apartment has been totally renovated with new beds, furnishings, appliances etc. Both of the double bedrooms have large sliding door wardrobes. The Captain's Bedroom has a large king size bed and patio doors overlooking the marina together with an en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2 has wonderful waterside views and a door out onto the balcony for that early morning coffee with a view to die for. The newly renovated kitchen/diner with floor to ceiling windows has everything a cook would desire with new oven, hob and microwave. The sitting room area has French doors out onto a large private balcony for those lazy evenings watching the boats and barges pass by.

Beautiful appartement with best view on Carrick.
We had an amazing stay! The flat was clean, spacious and in a wonderful location with a view out over the water. We’d strongly recommend Karen’s flat, and will hopefully be back in the future!
Fantastic stay in a great location, Carrick is the largest and most lively town in Leitrim. With lots to see and do. Apartment on the Marina was spotless and comfortable in a great position just on the edge of the town. Karen was a great host and it was lovely to meet you, hop we get to stay and maybe have a Guinness with you again next year 10/10
We had a great stay at Karen and Eddie’s place! It was very comfortable and had a wonderful kitchen. The two larger bedrooms looked out over the marina and were quiet. When we had issues, Karen responded immediately and Eddie came by to help us out. Great team! It is very easy to walk across the bridge to more restaurants and to the train station. We had a nice quiet stay and would happily stay again.

Carrick on Shannon is a bustling, cosmopolitan riverside town with something for everyone. Our apartment is within walking distance of all amenities and a mainline railway station Dublin/Sligo route is a 15 minute walk. There are so many things to do during your stay with a cinema, fitness centre, swimming pool, bowling, theatre, boating, water sports, and there is an abundance of award winning restaurants, bars, music venues, hotels, shops, supermarkets etc. The renowned Lough Key Forest Park and Activity Centre is a 10 minute drive, a great place for families. Whatever you're looking for, Carrick has it all!
There is a regular train and bus service from Carrick to Dublin/Sligo but all town centre amenities are within walking distance. Knock International Airport is a 45 minute drive and Dublin Airport 2.5 hours. Carrick on Shannon is situated on the N4 Dublin/Sligo Road with excellent roads links to Sligo and Donegal.
