The place was quiet and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-appointed. I was particularly impressed that there were four different ways to make coffee.

Amazing little place, very cozy and a perfect place to come back to after hiking and birdwatching. The beds were super comfy and the gas stove was really nice to cook with, plus the hosts left us good recommendations for places to eat around the area and some birdwatching maps.

We've stayed at Thad & Wendy's airbnb many times and it was wonderful, as usual! Spacious yet cozy, great for birding around the Sax Zim bog nearby. Easy to cook meals in the kitchen and stay warm by the gas fireplace. We love staying here and hope to stay again in the future.

Stayed multiple weeks in February, the management team was great. What’s not to like - wonderful home, multiple bedrooms, heated floors, point and start fireplace and an awesome kitchen. When skies are clear the sunsets and night stars are amazing. Deer put on a daily wildlife show from across the meadow to the front yard (if your quiet enough). Definitely a nice place to stay!

Just as great as last year! Can't wait to head up there again in 2025. This will be my go-to spot for every trip up there!
