Our stay on the Scotia W was an awesome experience! Alex is also an amazing host, and very accommodating. The harbor where it is located is near the western edge of Inverness, very convenient to any plans west or south of town. Though it is still walkable to the the Inverness town centre as well (about 1 mile away). We loved our stay here and would definitely love to return next time we come to Inverness!

Thank you Alex for the great an polite welcome. The stay was good, a new experience. Beds are comfy, bathroom simple. Everything clean. Breakfast is lovely.

We loved the experience of sleeping on a boat! Alex was really friendly and guided us to a wonderful little restaurant (The Waterfront) where we had the best meal of our vacation. In the morning, we were served a full English breakfast, and then fresh strawberries and yogurt to complete. It was delicious, and while eating, we were regaled with stories of the boat, and the history of the highlands, and were given tips on great places to visit. We highly recommend the Boat and Breakfast for a unique stay.

Alex’s place is great, we were well pleased. Quirky with all you need. I would definitely recommend it to others and look him up again.
