The place was great but only 1 of the 3 toilets worked correctly for the entire week. We had problems with two of the toilets right away with one not functional at all. I sent a text to owner on Monday with pic showing the internal flush mechanism was not working as the tank would frequently not fill so when flushed there was not enough water pressure which resulted in major blockages in the toilet and the drainpipe affecting even the upstairs toilet. Ignoring my note, she just sent out a “handyman “ instead of a plumber who just cleared the clog but did not fix the root cause. We had to buy a more powerful plunger on Tuesday to use to allow only liquids to flush. We texted owner again and they finally sent a real plumber who worked most of Thursday afternoon. The plumber replaced the flush mechanism as suggested on Monday and had to actually pull the downstairs toilet after repeated snaking of both did not work. We paid a lot of money to not have working plumbing!

The location of this house was perfect — right across the street from the beach and playground area; a 5 min drive to the Publix and restaurants. The pool area was awesome and we spent a majority of our time there. The house was clean and well stocked. Should we ever be back in Marathon, we would definitely rent this house again!!!

Ever’s place is our favorite beach stay yet! It is one of the nicest Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at. Very comfortable and spacious and the pool area is absolutely incredible. It has a great gathering area and tiki bar. It also features a huge gas grill. The house sits directly across from the beach and a very nice and well maintained park. When not at the beach we sat on the top balcony right outside our bedroom and enjoyed wonderful ocean views as well as serene sunrises and sunsets. The house is beautiful inside and out. The neighborhood is extremely nice with beautiful homes. Ever is an excellent host!
