We enjoyed our stay. It was close to Capitol Reef. There is a small market nearby. Last year, my wife and daughter made a day trip to Bryce Canyon from here.

Absolutely loved the cottage! This was probably the most well stocked Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in: kitchen, bathrooms, games, linens, everything you need was there. Very cozy place and we loved the wood burning stove. Mia was very responsive and helpful when we needed her! Will be coming back. It was a little tricky to find in the dark and there is spotty cell service, so I would recommend having the detailed written instructions ready to go before you get there.

We loved staying at the cottage. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Super well equipped kitchen. It was a great base to explore Capitol Reef National Park. We enjoyed seeing wild turkeys, deer, and jackrabbits at the cottage. Highly recommend!

I loved staying at Mia’s Sand Cottage! The house is older but remodeled inside with a beautiful well stocked kitchen, nicely furnished, and decorated to blend in with the surrounding vistas. I liked how organized the house was, labels for where things go or where to find items. The beds were incredibly comfortable and I particularly enjoyed waking up to the sunrise over Capitol Reef every morning…while lying in bed! Did I mention the incredible views???The surrounding canyons, mesas, Capitol Reef, Boulder mountain and even glimpses of the Henry Mountains in the distance…..quiet, private and beautiful starry skies at night. The town of Torrey is a gem and Mia’s cottage was the perfect place to relax every evening, after a day of exploring the beauty of the canyons.
