Had a very pleasant stay at Marcy’s beautiful house. The room was equipped with everything I needed. Having an AC was also a HUGE plus! I loved all the personal touches/DIY home decors at the property. Felt like I was staying at a friend’s home. The 2nd floor terrace area was spacious and welcoming to hang out at. The property locates in a peaceful and residential area. Marcy was super hospitable, and very knowledgeable of the area. Thank you for having me!

Ismare's place is exactly as described in a peaceful Tico neighbourhood. Family and neighbours were very friendly. It is a little bit of a walk to downtown and to the beach but a nice walk to start each day.

Endroit familial et convivial. Marcy est disponible et accueillant. L’aire commune est propice aux échanges et aux rencontres avec d’autres voyageurs. Agréable séjour. Situé un peu loin de la plage. Vélos disponibles pour ceux qui n’ont pas de voiture. La chambre Éva est moins spacieuse que les 3 autres.

clean room and quiet place. Ena room is small but ok for one person. other room are bigger. Very intimate place, only 4 rooms full equipped. No roasters or dogs noise during the night. Hot shower, fridge and cold AC. 15 minutes by walk to Coco Beach. could use bicycle or take a lift from ismare father to reach downtown. thanks you Ismare!

I was extremely happy with the accommodations! The location was just far enough away from the centre to be really quiet. Easy enough to walk to to the beach or grab one of the free bikes available. Marcy was incredibly helpful and friendly. I booked a private boat and snorkeling tour with him and it was the highlight of my trip. The room was large and had everything you need to prepare food at home. The bed was super comfy and the shower had hot water! I’d recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and self sufficient space.
